Get Fit Today with Exericise
If you're like most people living in our modern day world, you want what you want immediately. And that does not exclude weight loss. We want to lose weight immediately and get in shape right now today.
Look at how many people are getting liposuction.
Everyone wants an easy way to get fit or an easy way to lose weight fast, but few realize that getting fit starts today, one day at a time.
The decisions that you make about your health each day are cumulative, meaning that they add up. The best way to get fit today is with exericise.
Start small.
Make good choices today about your health. Take a walk, maybe even jog a few steps. Eat some fruit after dinner instead of cake.
All of these things are realistic ways to get fit easy without so much initial pain. So forget about liposuction and get fit today with exericise.

Are You OCD About Exericise?
Maybe you're on the opposite end of this spectrum, but that's not our focus today. Some people are OCD about exericise and that's a problem.
OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) can be beneficial in some cases and harmful in others. For instance, someone who works in retail or some other repetitive job could use their OCD tendencies to their advantage.
Being OCD about exercise could also be an advantage if you're OCD about the right things like:
- keeping a regular workout schedule
- monitoring your eating habits
- getting enough rest after a workout
- keeping track of success
- making goals
For all of the benefits of being OCD about exericise, there are some serious consequences of getting obsessed over your workouts, in fact in can become debilitating.
Obsessing about exericise can take away from the benefits of exericise by making exericise something to get stressed about rather than a method to reduce stress.
Being OCD about exericise can also lead to overtraing one's body because the obsessed person will not think that he's done enough and will continue working out until past exhaustion.
Working out until exhaustion is good in moderation, but very bad on a regular basis.
Being driven to succeed at your weightloss goals or even gain weight and get buff is great, but you should not get OCD about exericise.

Special Exercises: Part 1
Anybody tired of the same old routine?
Routines get boring after a while and lose their impact gradually. To mix it up a little bit I've decided to start a series of posts on special exercises to amp up the effects of a workout.
I want to focus on the butt today. I know your laughing right now, BUT you know that you want yours to look and feel better! Like Denise Austin says "it's the last thing to leave the room", so you want it to leave a lasting impression like these girls. I can tell you nothing gets a man's attention like a fit butt.
What if I told you that you can get a great butt in less than 2 minutes a day, would you believe me?
A few years ago I was in physical therapy doing exercises for lower back pain when I noticed about two weeks in that my pants were getting snug in the butt. It turned out that the same exercise that I was doing to help my back pain was also firming my butt! Now my back pain is gone and I've got an eye catching butt as well.
Here's how I got it:
- This is a type of floor exercise so get out your mats and lie on your back, then bend your knees so that you form a triangle with your knees being the top point and your heels and butt being the bottom points.
- Keeping your abs semi-tight raise your hips towards the ceiling so that your body looks like a wedge. Hold this for 3-5 seconds.
- Start out with one set of 25 reps for beginners. You will strengthen your lower back while firming and shaping your butt.
- You should do this special exercise 5 times a week.
- The following week you should start doing 2 sets of 25 reps holding and squeezing your butt for 3-5 seconds.
Your body will tell you whether or not you should do more or less. This is a good model but you should adjust it to your specific needs by either increasing or decreasing the amout of reps that you do, how long you hold it, or the number of sets you do. OR you could simply stick to the 25 reps at 5 second intervals and just change how hard your squeeze and hold to get a great butt in two minutes!
I hope that you enjoy this special exercise as much as I do! Oh, one more tip for you when you get to be advance or those of you who are already advanced-you can add a single leg kick as you press your hips towards the ceiling to isolate your glutes for a more intense workout.

Lose Weight In Two Weeks
I find the best goal to keep anyone on track is to plan short term because it is easier to stay motivated and you're less likely to become overwhelmed.
Let's make our plan to lose weight in two weeks. It's pretty simple. We want to lose weight in two weeks. We don't care about the end result or losing 40 pounds immediately.
It will vary a lot, but you can expect to lose 3-5 lbs. per week. But that isn't our focus, it's about getting in rhythm with your workout routine.
I'd also like to point out something about this site that makes me feel like an idiot...I misspelled exercise! I actually added an extra "i", so when you search for this blog type in exericise.blogspot.com.
Just so we're clear about this, our plan is to lose weight in two weeks. How are we going to do this? Check out my next post!
